Layman's description

The manufacture of so-called prestige goods, and how they were used in social transactions, is the focus of this project. Who was able to make the high-quality flint daggers? Who was allowed to make them? Were all members of the society able to make such objects or were craft specialists at work?

The manufacture of so-called prestige goods, and how they were used in social transactions, is the focus of this project. Who was able to make the high-quality flint daggers? Questions about crafting skill, the transferral of practical know-how, and the contribution of talent and practice to crafting expertise are also addressed.
