High-grade serous and clear cell ovarian cancer: classification, aetiology and immune checkpoint regulation

The aim of this project is to improve our understanding of the heterogeneity of ovarian cancer and its microenvironment, specifically the high-grade serous and clear cell subtypes, to establish robust biomarkers within these subtypes and identify novel treatment approaches. Biological links between endometriosis and ovarian cancer will be investigated to explore potential causality.
