High-resolution mapping of the Middle East using satellite observations from the Sentinel missions in a machine learning framework

There is a large gap in ME research that is caused by the lack of a detailed and up-to-date land use and land cover (LULC) map of the region. The overall objective of this project is to fill this gap through the development of a LULC dataset using a repeatable machine learning based framework with the large pool of readily available Earth observation (EO) data.
