Higher Order Calculations for Low Energy Precision Physics

    Description

    We are calculating higher order loop corrections in the low energy region of the Standard Model. This is done using effective field theory techniques, and the results can be used to do precision tests of the Standard Model of particle physics on e.g. the lattice. A major focus in this project is the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, for which there at present is a discrepancy between theory and experiment needing to be resolved.
