Identification of regenerative subpopulations of mesenchymal stem cells in lung

The aim of the project is isolate and describe purer populations of mesenchymal stem cells from the human lung using a selection of surface-expressed markers. We believe that different subsets of mesenchymal cells exist in lung with different functional properties, which could be involved in different regenerative processes in the lung.
