This PhD project aims at analyzing the images of the interactions between Jews and Catholics in interwar Poland in oral histories through a case study of Lublin. It is a qualitative study combining historical workshop (critical source evaluation, textual analysis) with narrative identity. The main theories driving the analysis are intergroup contact theory, critical realism, theories of spatial segregation, communication based on context and iconology.
