Integration of Biomarkers in Clinical Models for Improved Outcome Prediction and New Therapies in Prostate Cancer

There is a need to determine the critical mechanisms of prostate carcinogenesis, progression and metastasis, and to test these as prognostic and predictive biomarkers and as new targets of therapy. We aim at integrated research in precision medicine with improved individualized prediction of response to different treatments. Our long-term goal is to sharpen diagnostics and to develop molecular-based therapies for implementation through clinical trials.
