Popular science description
The aim of the research was the site Zvejnieki, northern Latvia. Settlement remains as well as graves, dated to 9000-2500 BC, were excavated. An international archaeological field school started on the site in 2007. By combining visits of scholars with special knowledge of finds and methods with the education of fieldwork students were archive a wide information about excavating this kind of site.
