Description
A dissertation about understanding the norms imbedded in the 2030 Agenda and the role they play when the Agenda is implemented at a local level. The focus is on empirical examples from the city of Malmö and the role local civil society actors have in multi-stakeholder partnerships for social sustainability. The dissertation looks at these partnerships from a human right perspective focusing on questions of accountability, participation and equality/non-discrimination. Special attention is given to the principle of “Leave no one behind” and to economic inequality.
