Linnaeus-Palme planning cooperation

The main aim of this planning project is to bridge the gap between the two education & research institutions (Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science, Lund University, Sweden and University of Zakho, Iraq). The project will open new opportunities for both of partners and is focused on subjects related to education and research. With regard to education, the two partners will discuss the possibilities to exchange students and visiting staff as well as course developments within the focus subjects. With regard to research, the two partners will agree on conducting collaborative research in interesting subjects. The priority is for the development in agriculture, environmental and natural resources preserving/management. The cooperation and their outcomes are in line with most of the Sustainable Development Goals mentioned in the Agenda 2030 priorities will target people, natural resources, ensure progress for prosperity, enhance peace, and strengthening global solidarity.
