Lund Prospective Frontotemporal Dementia Study

The Lund Prospective Frontotemporal Dementia Study (LUPROFS) is represented by a multidisciplinary team of researchers with an ambition to continue and develop the decades-long research on Frontotemporal Dementia at Lund University. Through a multimodal and longitudinal approach our goal is to achieve new knowledge about cause an consequence and to develop novel biomarkers for diagnostics and prognostics. This also entangles the clinical heterogeneity, particularly regarding genetic aspects and the overlap with disorders of Atypical Parkinsonism.
