Compare to other regions in Europe the finds of ritual deposition in southern Scandinavia are numerous during the early farming societies (4000-2000 BC). Tools, mainly axes in flint, destroyed by fire are found at megalithic tombs and enclosures. Places with remains of mass destruction by fire are few.The research aimes at such places in Scania as well as central Sweden.
