Description

The dissertation deals with identifying the mechanisms of dexamethasone resistance in B-ALL and venetoclax resistance in T-ALL. We have also identified mono or combination therapies to overcome this resistance.

Layman's description

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia comprises both B-ALL and T-ALL. The dissertation deals with identifying the mechanisms of resistance to a glucocorticoid, dexamethasone in B-ALL and a BCL2 inhibitor, venetoclax in T-ALL. We have also identified mono or combination therapies to overcome this resistance.
