Description
The aim of this thesis is to identify new strategies to improve the delivery of small. interfering RNAs (siRNAs) to tumor cells, with special focus on enhancing the release of siRNAs from endosomes and lysosomes. The project includes implementation and development of new methods to investigate and characterize aspects of intracellular siRNA delivery, the basal rate of siRNA endosomal escape and how this can be modulated by cellular and pharmacological substances.
