MICROCOM: Mitigating Indoor Comfort and Health Risks in extreme Microclimate conditions through AI-powered building management systems

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

MICROCOM aims to address the challenge of predicting real-time extreme urban microclimate conditions by developing a universal data-driven model based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Neural Networks (NN). The results will be a robust and efficient model, that can be seamlessly integrated into existing building management and energy systems without the need for extensive ICT upgrades. MICROCOM will serve as a foundation for the further development of data-driven predictive models and its integration into smart building management and energy systems with a special focus on extreme climate events and vulnerable groups, using ongoing projects, consortia, models, and resources to support its development.
