Modern Swedish Ghostlote

The purpose of this study is to investigate form, function and attitudes towards ghost stories in modern Swedish society.

The project’s aim is to deepen the knowledge and understanding of functions of modern ghost narratives filtered through media in Sweden. The research will be based on ethnographic data gathered through a qualitative questionnaire, interviews, focus groups and various media analysis.
