In my dissertation I put in focus the Swedish novelist Erik Asklund and his novels from the 1930's: Kvinnan är stor, Lilla land, and Fanfar med fem trumpeter. Modernism and different kinds of intermedial aspects (interrelations between artforms and media) are discussed in a societal context.
