Project Details

Description

This project aims to further develop the technology GASMAS (Gas in scattering media absorption spectroscopy), and expand the patient group from neonatal babies to older children and adult patients. The technique, based on the optical technology GASMAS, enables non-invasive continuous measurement of lung function in patients in intensive care, for immediate detection of serious lung complications, leading to better care, fewer complications and a better quality of life for patients with possible lung complications in intensive care units. The project is carried out in collaboration with Neola Medical AB, which is developing a product for monitoring neonatal children based on the same technology.
