Popular science description

This project explores the capacities and limitations of the human learning mechanism by experimentally examining what learners at different ages can learn about an unknown, natural language after only a few minutes and with no help. The results show that adults can learn implicitly about sound regularities in 7 min. and remember them after a week, a capacity that improves with increasing age.
