Project Details
Description
Through national and international collaborations, SPACE aims to strengthen clinical research in family medicine and in specific in type 2 diabetes and its complications.
Primary care has a central role in type 2 diabetes prevention, treatment and follow-up. SPACE is a nationwide collaboration and consists of senior researchers, post-docs and doctoral students in family medicine in Sweden. The collaboration is based on common clinical research interests with type 2 diabetes in focus.
SPACE's national collaborations are partly based on newly started clinical studies and trials, but also involve data in cohort studies, intervention trials and national registers.
