PhD Project: Investigating bone tissue structure and mechanics using neutron scattering

Project: Dissertation

Project Details

Description

In my PhD project I employ neutron scattering methods, namely neutron tomography and small-angle neutron scattering (SANS), to investigate bone tissue structure and mechanics. This work is performed in collaboration with international neutron sources (Institut Laue-Langevin, Grenoble, France; Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, Switzerland; J-PARC, Ibaraki, Japan), and supervised by Prof. Hanna Isaksson, Prof. Ulf Olsson, and Ass. prof. Stephen Hall.
