Description
My PhD project will investigate the role living environments (indoor and outdoor) have in the process of ageing and how relocations add to the complexity as they might be related to own health or that of a partner, civil status changes (e.g. divorce or death of a partner) and other circumstances. The project will utilise Swedish population register data to investigate the dynamics involving living environments, relocation, and health. We will also assess the role of demographic and socioeconomic aspects such as sex, country of origin, education, occupation and income, or life events such as death or sickness influence relocation.
