Pristine Forests as Indicators of Environmental and Carbon Storage Change

The main motivation for this project to understand pristine forests in Sweden better. This is important because we want to know how humans are affecting the earth system but to do that we need to have something to compare against - pristine ecosystems. This project uses pristine ecosystems as a critical baseline to better understand human impacts on forest growth and carbon storage.
