Prototype System for Massive MIMO in the New 5G Spectrum Band

The goal of this project is to build a complete and flexible experimental testbed for 5G massive multiple-input multiple-output system working at 30GHz band, including investigation and implementation of the overall system architecture, radio frequency subsystem, and soft-defined radio based baseband subsystem. To achieve this, we propose tight collaboration between Lund University and Sony Mobile Communications AB in Lund and bring in experts in both wireless communication and electronics systems.
