Description
The process of biomarker analysis, for research or clinical use, from taking a sample to the final result, consists of three phases: pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical. Quality assurance at all levels is necessary.
We are involved in SweQA (Swedish Quality Assurance) Breast Cancer. SweQA performs quality assurance, in all three phases, of biomarkers used in clinical breast cancer routine (ER, PgR, HER2, Ki67, histological grade).
