National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) of Australia Project Grant for a multi-center, randomized controlled trial comparing treatment as usual to an integrated cognitive behavioural treatment for PTSD and Substance Use Disorders in Adolescents; Amount of Award - $945,647 (6.25 million SEK); NHMRC Grant#1123862, Ethical approval# 2018/863

This is a world-first, randomised clinical trial of a treatment specifically designed to help adolescents who suffer from both post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use problems. The trial is conducted in Australia under the lead of Katherine Mills (University of Sweden) and in collaboration with PTSD and substance use researchers from the University of New South Wales and Queensland (Australia), the Institute of Psychiatry/Medical University of South Carolina and the Department of Psychology/Lund University (Sean Perrin).
