Project: Research

Project Details

Description

SCA + aims to contribute to the development of intelligent energy systems. The concept consists of having a system perspective on energy use in homes and include production, distribution and use.

The goal of the project is to create flexible, smart energy systems that reduce peak load production, promote renewable energy sources and efficient energy use in buildings. This requires interaction and knowledge of energy production, energy distribution, energy storage and energy efficiency.

IIIEE's part of the project consists of looking at energy communities and following how, among other things, the work with energy communities in Sege Park, Malmö, continues.

The project is funded by Europeiska Regionala Utvecklingsfonden för Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak.
