Description
The objective of this Working Group (WG) is to identify, evaluate and, where necessary, develop methods, tools and measures to gauge input to and development in second language learners of major European languages. A secondary objective is to spread knowledge about best practice in these domains especially among young researchers. The Working Group will target two broad domains. The first concerns the measurement of quantity and quality of input exposure by collecting input data during exposure to the target language, e.g. in the process of a Study Abroad period. The second domain concerns the measurement of expected progress in the learner.
