    Description

    This projects consists of constructing and implementing a complete event generator for proton-proton, proton-ion and ion-ion collisions in the multi-purpose event generator SHERPA. The main part of the project is to implement an effective kinetic theory describing weakly coupled QCD plasmas in thermal field theory, which will be supplemented with suitable initial conditions and a hadronisation prescription. Validation, tuning and detailed comparisons to data are also part of the project.
