Description
The dissertation aims to bring the emergent movement of "realism" in political theory to bear on the normative issues that the refugee crisis has highlighted. How to approach the apparent trade-off between migration and the welfare state? How to judge political actors in an environment characterized by uncertaintanties, risks, and widespread moral failures of other agents in the system?
