    Project Details

    Description

This project is part of the eChild Health Research Program (specifically the area IX: Cultural Analysis), and is done in collaboration with the Umeå University, Sweden.

eHealth Literacy (eHL) involves specific abilities needed for one to successfully use electronic health care (eHealth). The skills needed are many, involving anything from seeking out information to the actual application of the knowledge gained, as a way to improve health (Norman and Skinner, 2006). The eHealth Literacy Questionnaire (eHLQ) is a recommended tool for evaluating individual’s eHL skills (Kayser et al., 2018), but this tool has not been translated into Swedish. The aim of this research project was to translate and evaluate the validity of the Swedish version of the eHLQ.
