    Project Details

    Description

In this research project we assess the role of microbial behaviour and physiology in disposable incontinence products. The overall research question is to identify what determines the level of microbial colonization, growth and metabolic activity in an incontinence product. More specifically the goal is to establish the foundation for developing a laboratory-scale model system in which colonization and growth of different microbial communities will be studied in different parts of the incontinence product using various molecular and microscopy methods.
