Project Details
Description
The purpose of the project is to deepen the understanding of how art-based projects involving young migrants can enhance social integration and belonging in cities. Given that participation in the arts can enhance place-making
and encourages social belonging, this project will develop, implement, and evaluate arts-programmes for migrants in case-study cities in England, Germany, and Sweden. A special focus is barriers to social integration amongst migrants and host communities. This will lead to knowledge translation from the empirical study to develop sustainable solutions to social integration and citizenship.
