The Employer's duty of loyalty

In Sweden, there are no statutory regulations regarding loyalty in the employment relationship. According to the Swedish Labour Court there is a mutual obligation for the employer and the employee to be loyal to each other. There is a lot of case law from the Swedish Labour Court concerning the employee’s duty of loyalty and there is plenty written on the subject in legal literature. However, the employer's duty of loyalty hasn’t been given as much attention. The overall purpose of my project is to investigate and analyze the employer's duty of loyalty to the individual employee and to the employees as a group.
