In the commercial premises market exists difficulties finding legal compromises between the property owner’s property rights and the tenant’s business interests. The aim of my project is to look over the law regarding the indirect protected tenancy for tenants in the commercial premises market and analyze the current assessment model that is being applied on the relation between the property owner and the tenant. The purpose is to put the legal framework, mainly based on 1960’s principles, in relation to today’s commercial premises market and evaluate its aims and usability.
