Project Details

Description

This project examines the contribution of education to the economic development of Denmark, Norway and Sweden in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Using a rich, individual-level dataset linked to census records, the project looks beyond levels of education (eg. years of schooling) to the effect of different types of education — at a time of expanded educational offerings.
