Description

Mammography is the established method in breast cancer screening, but it has limited sensitivity. Breast tomosynthesis has emerged as a method with potential to improve breast cancer screening accuracy. This doctoral thesis aims to investigate the use of breast tomosynthesis in screening with a special focus on possible benefits and side effects.
