Project Details

Description

n this research program, we study the National Rehabilitation Program in Sweden.. This program is directed to two major patient groups in primary health care: musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) and common mental disorders (CMD). Patients with MSD are offered multimodal rehabilitation (MMR) and patients with CMD are offered cognitive behavioral therapy. Our studies focus on patients with MSD.

We have studied how patients are referred to this rehabilitation on organizational level as well as different patient reported outcomes, with attention on health related quality of life and work ability. We use register data from Skåne Health Care register, Statistics Sweden, The Social Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
