The next step in computational galaxy formation (Wallenberg Academy Fellowship)

This research program focuses on two distinct, but intimately connected themes in star and galaxy formation. Using state-of- the-art numerical methods, we will, for the first time, couple the physics occurring on galactic and cosmological scales to the process occurring in ‘small scale’ star forming regions. This is a crucial step to make in order to make progress in both fields, and will allow us to address a number of salient problems.
