The norm of global accountability and strategies of civilian victimization during conflicts

My research project focuses on investigating the link between the growing norm of global accountability and state-sponsored strategies of violence against civilians during conflicts. The project will use a mixed method approach to uncover the possible transformative effects of international criminal justice on dynamics of violence.
