Description
Over the past three decades, there has been a surge in interest and examination of constitutional identity within the European Union (EU) scholarly discourse. However, the significance of this increase remains unclear. The overall objective of the thesis is to reassess what is understood as set of taken-for-granted facts regarding the use of the term constitutional identity in the EU by critically investigating what type of concerns are being addressed with the use of the term constitutional identity in the EU and explore what does this use reveal about the development of the EU.
