The seniority principle in redundancy situations

The seniority principle in the Swedish Employment Protection Act is debated. Such a principle is not uncommon un redundancy situations in other European countries, althought not so strictly applied as the Swedish rule. The Project aims at comparing Sweden, Norway and Germany in this respect. Case law and practice are important in the Project.
