The Skateholm Project – late Mesolithic settlements and cemeteries close to a Scanian lagoonn.

In the 1980s interdisciplinary investigations of Late Mesolithic sites on a former lagoon at Skateholm in southernmost Scania were carried out. Three sites with a combination of settlement remains and cemeteries were excavated. Several other Mesolithic sites were found during surveys. The project has been and is presented in various publications.
