Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Archaeology focuses on the past, but not on time as a concept, although that which is ancient is also encompassed by time. Starting from the bog body named Tollund Man, the project examines how the past is everywhere, the two cultures and perceptions of time, time as a general concept of change according to Ernst Mach, and how archaeology as a subject and method has developed from the ancient concept of arche.
