What images of parenthood can we find in Sweden and West Germany? How did they develop 1945-2000? Which differences and similarities were there between the two countries? The research project answered these questions focusing on the emergence of a new image of paternity connected to the implementation of parental and paternal leave in 1974 resp. 1986.
