Project Details

Description

As extreme weather is an aspect of climate change, its effects and the measures taken may become relevant in the tourism and agriculture communities. The heatwaves and dry period for the Mediterrean that prevailed during the spring, summer and autumn 2021 had serious consequences for farmers and rural communities of tourism especially in adapting spatial planning of these areas. The project provides a taxonomy of plural values in relation to human-nature relations in the aftermath of wildfires in Turkey. Together with LUCSUS research assistant Utku Kuran and researcher Mine Islar, a short film will be provided apart from the academic articles on this issue.
