Description
The project explores verb second (V2) in main and embedded clauses in English and Danish over the last thousand years. The project is carried out as a corpus-based study utilizing linguistic corpora of present-day and older variants of a variety of Germanic languages to map out the development of V2 as a syntactic phenomenon.
