Values, Decision Making and Risk: current perspectives and future research

The concept of risk is salient in numerous aspects of society and branches of science. For example, risk is intrinsic in the debates on climate change, economics and societal resilience. At Lund University there are many ongoing research projects directly or indirectly addressing the complex of values, decision making and risk. Here we bring together researchers from different faculties to compare perspectives, hoping to discover new challenges and opportunities for research and practice. Through a series of workshops the group’s participants intend to identify and analyze the state of the art and formulate ideas for interdisciplinary research.
