Description

The recent combination of a calamitous medical event with a dramatic economic decline begs the question of solidarity anew, with the concept being used in a plethora of ways to convey a sense of personal or institutional commitment to it. The idea is to dismantle the concept, identify critical junctures in its histories, other concepts it eclipsed and factors that have influenced and may influence changes to its meaning.
