Abstract

This is an attempt to write a popular book on mysticism, as requested by one of the largest publishers in Sweden (Natur och Kultur). Twelve mystics, representing Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, met in Andalusia (Córdoba) in order to discuss how spiritual leaders could contribute to increasing understanding between different cultures. When discussing their concept of God, view of man, mystical techniques, kataphatic and apophatic experiences, and spiritual transformation, they discovered that they understood each other very well. Although everything the mystics say is based on their own texts, the meeting is fictive.
